Advanced Licensure Program
The Advanced Licensure Program at the Dermodality Institute of Modern Esthetics (DIME) is designed for estheticians who have already completed esthetics education and are ready to advance their license, expand their skill set, and train in modern, in-demand modalities.
About Advanced Licensure Program
DIME is a Nevada-approved 900-hour institution and accepts approved transfer hours from Nevada and out-of-state schools, as permitted by the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology. Eligible students may complete their remaining required hours at DIME through this focused advanced program.
What This Program Is
This is a comprehensive advanced training track for students who:
- Are currently enrolled in another esthetics program
- Have completed esthetics education elsewhere
- Are transferring hours from Nevada or out-of-state schools
- Want advanced training beyond basic esthetics
This program allows qualifying students to finish their education at DIME while receiving intensive hands-on training in advanced esthetics.
Advanced Modalities & Hands-On Training
Students train extensively in the advanced services DIME is known for, including:
- Advanced facials and corrective skincare
- Chemical peels and exfoliation systems
- Dermaplaning and advanced extractions
- Microneedling and RF microneedling
- LED light therapy and energy-based treatments
- Body contouring and skin tightening
- Laser and light-based treatments (within scope)
Training is high-touch and hands-on, with an emphasis on:
- Proper sequencing and treatment layering
- Working confidently across all skin types and tones
- Real-world treatment planning and execution
Clinical Experience
Students gain practical experience through:
- Supervised hands-on training with live models
- Advanced case studies and protocol development
- Pre- and post-procedure care
- Safe use of professional devices and technologies
This program is fast-paced, immersive, and designed to maximize skill acquisition in a condensed timeframe.
